The Gospel: Missions Disclosed

Cuba: sandwiches, cigars, or whatever else you may know about the country, there is one thing for sure, they NEED the Gospel. They need Jesus. This past week, LifeLight founder, Alan Greene, spent time in Havana, Cuba teaching and encouraging pastors and evangelists. He spoke on The call of the Evangelist and The Call of the Church, as well as, training in Daily Witness, 5-Star Evangelism, and The One Minute Witness. Evangelism training in Cuba is minimal, so this past week served as a great encouragement to these locals.

The history of Christianity in Cuba has been an uphill battle of control against organized religion. Throughout the years, the regime has stolen property, destroyed churches, and imprisoned Christian pastors. The circumstances surrounding their “religious freedom” are very limited and less than ideal. But there is still hope for Cuba. This is why it is so important to equip these brave local pastors and evangelists with the tools they need to proclaim the Gospel!

Greene sated, “Communities and nations can be transformed for Christ if the body of Christ engages in the process of sharing their faith story. To God be the Glory as we join in His great work.”

Please continue to pray for Cuba, the Christians there, and the work that God will continue to do for the Gospel, through His willing vessels.

We are obedient to Ephesians 4:11-15,

“And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.”
