Black: Darkness & Brokenness
The black represents the darkness and brokenness we see all around us and feel in our own heart—things like anxiety, shame, and sin. It is exhausting trying to fake being okay and left on our own. We are completely trapped in that darkness, cut off from God. The Bible says we are all sinful and in darkness without Jesus Christ.
Red: The Blood of Christ
The red stripe represents the blood of Christ. Jesus did not leave us in darkness.
Because of His love for us, He shed His blood on the cross to cover our sin and
brokenness. He cancels our debt, rescues us from our sin and darkness, and defeats
death by rising again.
Gold: The Light & Eternal Life
The gold represents the light of Jesus and the gift of eternal life. He offers you absolute
freedom, true purpose right now, and a forever home in Heaven.
You cannot fix your own brokenness, but you can choose who you follow.
Are you ready to stop running, step into the light, and surrender your life to Jesus
today?”
Jesus offers us a gift of connecting us to God and giving us a home in heaven.
He simply says that whoever follows me will not walk in darkness but have this
light and life.
Prayer
If you’re ready to make that choice, let’s talk to God right now:
“Jesus, I admit I’ve been living in the dark. I’ve messed up, and I can’t fix my own
brokenness. I believe You died for me, and Your blood washes away my sin and past.
Right now, I turn from my sin and put my total trust in You. Thank you for giving me a
future in heaven and peace and meaning now. Guide me, change me, and use me. I am
yours. I want to be a true follower of You Jesus. Amen.”
